In an effort to continuously improve the supervision of the electricity market, the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE) established the Prudential Monitoring system.
Thus, on a weekly basis, generation and trading agents must submit data regarding their operations for evaluation by the CCEE. This mechanism enables the analysis of systemic market risk with transparency and reliability, in addition to disclosing the agents’ leverage levels.
The Leverage Ratio (LR) is the metric that indicates an entity’s level of leverage, reflecting its risk potential relative to its financial capacity. Simply put, the closer the ratio is to zero, the lower the entity’s leverage. In accordance with the monitoring process, we present the most recent Leverage Ratios calculated for ATMO Energia.
